Amy, we chatted awhile ago about the Gibbs. This is what I know so far.

My line begins with Sarah J. Gibb, born in Carlisle, PA, in 1857, to Hiram Gibb, born about 1834. I believe his brother is William Gibb, born in 1831 and living next door to Hiram in the 1860 census. Hiram and William's father is Henry Gibb, born in about 1790 and living next door to Hiram in the 1860 census as well. William Gibb's children are listed as Martha A, William H. (who was 6 in the 1860 census), John, and James. Hiram Gibb also has a William, who was 9 months in the 1860 census. All three Gibb men, William, Hiram, and Henry are listed as blacksmiths. I have some more information if you are interested. Thanks!
