Barb-

I'm trying to connect to your David Gibb who died in 1842 with 12 children. I believe most of these 12 children show up on the 1850 Allegheny County, PA Federal Census living with members of the Hamilton and Dickson families on Neville Island, PA. Is this correct?

I believe that David Gibb (died 1842) was the sister or nephew of my ancestor Mary Gibb Hamilton (married to David Hamilton). We think that Mary's father was William Gibb, but have no information beyond that.

Any information you can provide would be appreciated.
