My great great grandfather is James Nelson Gibb that you had alluded to in the posting. He is buried in an unmarked grave, along with his wife Isabella and 2 of his children in Dundee's West Cemetery.
My grandparents, James and Elizabeth Nelson Gibb Edwards are buried at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, IL USA, as is there 2 sons, Ronald and James Jr.
I go the following information from the Dundee Registrar two years ago:

I have pretty detailed family trees from the Registrars if you need them-I'm not sure how to post them here. Additionally, I have been in contact with Charles(Chic)Napier who is still in the Laurencekirk area. He is related to our family as his great great grandmother, Elizabeth Napier married Francis Gibb, and is buried in the same church yard in Laurencekirk (next to the Parish Church). I'm guessing Francis was David Gibb's father.
