My great great grandfather is James Nelson Gibb that you had alluded to in the posting. He is buried in an unmarked grave, along with his wife Isabella and 2 of his children in Dundee's West Cemetery. My grandparents, James and Elizabeth Nelson Gibb Edwards are buried at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, IL USA, as is there 2 sons, Ronald and James Jr. I go the following information from the Dundee Registrar two years ago: James Crow Edwards born 17 Nov 1922, 8 Rosebank Street, Dundee. James died 11 Apr 1963, Chicago,USA. 3. Elizabeth Nelson Gibb born 9 Feb 1899, 66 Wellfield Street, Glasgow, died 20 Dec 1994, Chicago Heights, USA. Grand Parents 4. David Edwards born 7 Jan 1845, Dundee, occupation Boilermaker, married 22 Oct 1875, in Paradise Road, Dundee, Betsy Gellathy, also known as: Gellatley born 1852, Dundee. David died before 1922. 5. Thomas Bridges occupation General Labourer, married Helen Crichton. 31. Helen Crichton. I have pretty detailed family trees from the Registrars if you need them-I'm not sure how to post them here. Additionally, I have been in contact with Charles(Chic)Napier who is still in the Laurencekirk area. He is related to our family as his great great grandmother, Elizabeth Napier married Francis Gibb, and is buried in the same church yard in Laurencekirk (next to the Parish Church).
