hello Noel.
i think that we may share the same family line.
robert gibb(born 1820) and isabella (born 1824),lived in east square, dalgety, fife, scotland. they had 3 children that i know of.
Alexander (b 1849) my gggrandfather.

Alexander Gibb married Eleanor Wilson (b1857) in 1875 in Liverpool, England. they had 11 children.

Frederick Alexander married Dora Turner (1887-1982) in 1919 in Hulme, Manchester, England. they had 3 children.
Aexander Frederick (1921-1985) my father.
