4 James Edward Giggeys born NB before 1850
There appear to be four James Edward Giggeys born before 1850 in New Brusnwick.Some were known as Edward, others as James (information compiled from many researchers, so please contact me to correct any errors).
1,James Edward Giggey "Edward", b. May 24, 1803, NB, son of Thomas Giguey/Giggey, who married Mary Bishop on Nov 7, 1838 in Andover, Carleton Co, NB.He was a lumberman and died Sep 8, 1905in Ft. Fairfield, ME.(102 years old!)
2. James Edward Giggey "James", b. 1811/1812 in NB, son of William and Catherine Giggey.He married Elizabeth Carvell Feb 15, 1838 in St. Johns, NB and was baptized as an adult on Feb 25, 1838 in Trinity Anglican Church, Kingston, NB.James was a ship captain who died at sea Dec 23, 1848 enroute to Barbados on the Brig "Ward".
3.James Edward Giggey (William died 1858). James Edward married Emma Mullins in 1842 and lived on the Kingston Penninsula, NB.He was a ship carpenter and died in 1886 [Jim Leggett - [email protected]]
4. James Edward Giggey "Edward", b. 1847, son of James Edward #2 above.
