My great-great-grandmother was Onezia Kilchrist. My mother was of the opinion she came directly from Ireland, but I'm not so sure. She married Onezime Breaux and they fathered Joseph Breaux, my great grandfather. The entire family lived around Carencro, Opelousas and Scott, Louisiana.
