Without doing a lot of research, It appears that Onezia Kilchrist might be the daughter of Thomas Kilchrist? If so, his father was my ggggfather (Onesime Gilchrist). The names Gilchrist and Kilchrist are interchangable here as I can document the change with real documents. At the time, they referred to themselves as Gilchrists (not sure why). But I do believe that it was even Kilcrease even before that. The family lived in southern St. Landry, northern Lafayette Parish from around 1780'ish onward. I will look at the Breaux relationship to make sure we are talking about the same Onezia. Either way, nice to meet you. :)

David
