Orr W. Gilchrist was born June 17, 1815 in Savannah, Ohio, not Pennsylvania. I don't have any specific info on Orr's wife. Orr and his wife went to Iowa in 1845 with his brother Robert, but didn't stay as Robert and his wife both died there. A family rumor says it was an Indian attack. Orr and his wife came back to Ohio.
