Jeff,
I am researching Gildea's from the Hazleton area in NE PA. I have a Catherine who married a Gildea, he died prior to 1887. She was born abt. 1809 in Ireland, and died 2/23/1887 in Plymouth, PA. They had six children: David B., James, Mrs Lewis Zottwoch, Mrs James Mulherin(Hanna),my GGGrandmother, Mrs. Thomas Gallagher, Cornelius.
She emigrated abt. 1833 from Ireland. That's all I have right now, I got all of this from Catherin's Obit. as you can tell from the sparse info on the children. If you can add any info to this it would be much appreciated.
