message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
I talked to my father about your search, and showed him the Gildea family names which you have. He thinks that the "Thomas Gildea" born in 1881 is likely to be Eamon's father, on the basis that Eamon was born in the mid thirties. Next time I see Eamon Gildea, I will mention this site to him, although I don't think he is on the net. Perhaps one of his family might be able to mail you with more details.
Incidentally, the town you refer to as Kilasner, is in fact Kilasser, and it is about 40 miles from Killala, so the Edward J. Gildea which you discussed with Catherine Gildea, may not necessarily, be one and the same as the Edward Joseph Gildea born in Killala
