Dont know if there is any connection here at all but am researching Kilday/Kildea in my family tree. My Greatgrandfather was Thomas Kilday, born in Donegal,Ire. circa 1835. He married Susan McFadden (also of Donegal Ire.)He immigrated to US;either NY or Philly. Was in the 100th PA volunteers in the civil war serving from 1861-1865; wound at siege of Petersburg VA. Likely immigrated between 1858-1859; lived in Philly. One possible brother in Philly was a James A Kilday(married Margaret McFarland). Children of Thomas Kilday and Susan McFadden (all born in Philly)included Charles (1860), Thomas (1865), James 1867), Joseph (unknown), John (1871), Francis Miles (1872)Mary (1874), Anna (1877) (my grandmother).
