Henry Gilles of Luxemburg and his wife, Catherine emigrated to Wisconsin in about late 1850's. They settled first in Saint Joseph's Ridge and later in La Crosse, WI. They had nine known children: Anton (b.1844),
Nicholas (b. 1853), Michael, Peter (b 1851),
Joseph (b. 1868)stayed in Wisconsin. John,Henry and Mary (Ross) moved to GreatFalls, MT. and James apparently moved to Maryland. Anyone know more about this family? Nicholas is my great-grandfather. I know the family is huge, but I know little or nothing about my Gilles relatives. Love to hear from you. Jane Galstad
