Sue, It seems you are quite the expert on the Gillikin family.Have you ever asked the question- how did they get to North Carolina? I think that Gillikin came from Gilligan.I have found an Alexander Gilligan of Marblehead Mass.1674,master of a vessel.I believe Thomas was his descendant but have yet to prove it.Any thoughts,Michelle
