I don't think the Lafayett's are the same. The Lafayette in my family is Alfred Lafayett but so many people were called by their middle names that having mama available to ask really helps me to untangle this. The names were used over and over as you probably have discovered. A lot of the graves have middle names only. Been on vacation so just saw your message. Diane
