Mr. Phipps,
Thank you so much for your reply. I was beginning to think no one else was ever going to discover the Gillow forum. Here is my Leckonby line:

Jennet Leckonby, born ca. 1670, md. William Gillow.

William Leckonby, died before March 28, 1685 md. Jennet.

Richard Leckonby born ca. 1627 died ca 1669-1675, md. Isabel (This is where you and I branch off)

John Leckonby born ca. 1604 died aft December 28, 1650, md. Alice Singleton.

According to the various "visitations" Alice Singleton's lineage can be traced back several more generations. Some sites on the web have her descended from nobility/royalty but I have never seen proof of this. As you probably know it is documented she is descended from the families of Gerard, Hesketh, Houghton, Farrington, Osbaldeston, Westby, etc. It is through the Farrington and Houghton families where I have seen unproven links to nobility. If you have any more information which would help me take this back further I would be much indebted. How I would love to find out the last names of "Jennet" and "Isabel". Thank you again for your reply.
