This is facinating information and very detailed.
I am currently tracing my family history on my mothers side which is Worswick. I have found a letter from a Great Great Aunt in which she details some of our family history and states that we are direct decendants of Thomas Worswick who marries Alice Gillow, Leighton Hall. I am keen to know the details of their children and their childrens children. I know that their son Alexander, had a son Thomas(Junr) but that is all I have been able to find out. Thomas Worswick was a famous Lancashire Clock and Watchmaker, who teamed up with the Gillows to create clocks using the Gillow furniture. His potrait and examples of his work are on view in Lancaster Museum.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards
Becca Jolley

P.S. Thomas Worswick was also a Banker and was involved in many aspect of 18th life in Lancashire including the building of the Lancaster Canal.
