Hello Gindele relatives!
Yes, there are not too many of us, either in the United States or throughout the rest of the world. Are all the Gindeles in the U.S. directly related to J.G. Gindele? My great grand father was August Gindele. He married Katrina Von der Linden and they had three children, Herbert, Woodbury, and another child who died in infancy. The only thing we know about August is that he was born in Germany in 1842 and became an
American citizen in 1887. He worked as a personal secretary to an international business man in New York City. August spoke and wrote in 6-7 languages. He died in New York City in 1892. If anyone would like to share their branch of the family tree with me please let me know. Thanks, Rick Gindele
