My Great Grandfather was John Guinane – son of John Guinane and May (Mary?) Curry. born in Ennis, County Clare 1863. He came to the US in 1890 and settled in Elmira NY. He died in 1915. We believe he had two sisters who came to the US – Ann and Mary. Mary is shown on the 1910 census as living with John’s family. We have also seen the name spelled as Guynan. Any info you have would be appreciated! Thanks
