I would be very interested to hear from you. I have many "Ginters" in my ancestry
My Dad's surname and that of his siblings was changed to Guenther from Ginter in or about the year 1923 or so. I have gone back along the Ginter line to about 1740. All are Mennonites! There are also Neufeldt, Unrau, Dyck, Dueck and many other names involved in my family tree. Again, all Mennonite. My first group of ancestors came over to Canada from an area called "Bergthaler Colony" on the ships "Nova Scotian", Peruvian and Sardinian. starting in 1874. They settled in Manitoba in an area called the "East Reserve"
Any connections? please get back to me .. Don
