I did not have a death date or location for Jacob, however the following is what I know. Jacob Girardin b.ron 2/21/1705/6 at Rauwiller Alsace Germany married 2/3/1725/26 Maria Francisca Wiedersheim. she died abotu 1742 and her father was Peter Weidersheim.
Their daughter susanna (also Maria Susanna was born berfor 3/19/1726/7 at Diedendorf Germany married 6/23/1744 at Rauwiller Henry Frantz (also Johann Heinrich or John Henry) they immigrated to the US and settled in Northampton Co. and she died after 1 1782.
Jacob Girardin was the son of Jacob Girardin and Magdelena Leyenberger.
I have the following children for Jacob and Maria Weidersheim Girardin
Susanna, Johannetta, Paulus, Jacob, Maria Magdelena, Maria Catherine.
Jacob Girardin was the son of Paul Girardin and Johannetta Charpentier and the parents of Magdelena Leyenberger are unknown.
All of this comes by way of a couple of other researchers who found the information in a book 18th Century Emigrants from the Northern Alsace. let me know how this coincides with what you have.
