My family tree goes back to Joseph Girardin in lower Canada. Approximately 1755. I understand that is the Montreal region (St Constant). His son is Jean Baptiste and one of his sons was another Jean Baptiste. They located in Amherstburg ON Canada. From them came some great lakes ship captains. My part of the family crossed the Detroit river into Wyandotte, Michigan. Any links to your family tree??
