While at the library copying some obits, I managed to copy a Funeral Listing for Jeanette M (Pratte) Giroux. I am not related to this person, but thought I would post it hoping someone out there is.

GIROUX - The funeral of Mrs. Jeanette M. (Pratte) Giroux, wife of Leo R. Giroux, took place this morning and was attended by many relatives and friends.Preceded by two automobiles loaded with beautiful floral offerings, and TrafficSergt. Edward Connors and Motorcycle Officer William Nelson, the funeral cortege left th home of the deceased, 329 Riverside street at 9:45 o'clock and wended its way to St. Jeanne d'Arc church where at 10 o'clock a solemn high funeral mass was celebrated by Rev. Arthur O' Mercier, OMI, as deacon and Rev. Aurelien Mercil, OMI, as sub deacon.An augmented choir under the direction of Miss Antoinette Dion, who also presided at the organ, rendered Abbe Perrault's harmonized requiem mass, the soloists being Mrs. Walter Ayotte, Mrs. Antoinette Beaudreau, Mrs. Mary Laflamme, Mrs. John B. Richard's, Miss Loretta Bernier, Mrs. Wilfred Payette, Messrs. J.E. Nolet, Telesphore Malo, Leon Lamoureux, Adolphe Brassard, George Hebert and Edward Coutu.At the offertory Leybach's "Pie Jesu" was rendered by George Hebert, and at the elevation "O Meritum Passionis" by J.E. Nolet and the "De Profundis" by the choir.As the body was borne from the church Mrs. Boudreau and Mrs. Ayotte rendered the Crucifix of Faure.There was a large delegation of St. Ann's sodality and Third Order of St. Francis attending the mass of which the following went to the cemetery:third Order of St. Francis:Mrs. Audore Desmarais, Mrs. Cleophas Lefebvre, Mrs. Edmond Desmarais; St. Ann's by Mrs. Jules Blanchette, Mrs. Severin Beaudry, Mrs. Henry Barry.There was also a large delegation of the children from the Franco-American orphanage boys and girls.The bearers were Messrs. Emile Lemire, John Pratte, Alexandre Beaudry, William Dufresne, Elphege Phaneuf and Arthur Giroux.Burial took place in St. Joseph's cemetery where Rev. Arthur Lemire, OMI, assisted by Rev. Arthur O. Mercier and Rev. Donat Morrissette, read the committal prayers.There was a large quantity of spiritual bouquets.Among those from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Anne Moyette, Mrs. and Mrs. Telesphore Monette of Montreal, Mr. and Mrs. Alexandre Beaudry, Misses Yvonne and Alice Beaudry, Messrs. Emile and Albert Beaudry of Claremont, N.H., Mrs. and Mrs. J.B. Lemire of Franklin, N.H., Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Ricard of Manchester, N.H., Mr. and Mrs. George Doyon of Lawrence, Mass., Miss Ada Gaudette of Nashua, N.H.Funeral Director Leo N. Bilodeau in charge.
