Melva, thank you for your rapid reply.I've seen the Swisher/Ohl etc. page and it is full of great stuff, but what I am really looking for is actual documentation.Where did this wealth of information come from?It FEELS right, but where is the proof?
If Esau is buried in Old Rosemont, his body was moved there from somewhere else (lots were!) because the cemetery was not founded until 1854.I don't recall ever seeing his name in the cemetery records, and I think it would have jumped out at me, but I will check again.Given the dates of the Court House stuff, Esau could have died either in December 1838 or early 1839, but again, I would like to know the exact date with some kind of documentation.
