Kenneth I tied Snake Girty family tree to my wife Jenny Girty tree by using Maggie. Wilson was Jenny grand father Thomas [Tom] Girty Uncle. The Girty's in Vian,Webbers Falls, are all Kin to you ,but Snake's 1st family isn't kin to Jenny.
Also your father probably knew Ike Chapman that was raised near the Girty's in the 1800's & early 1900 He told me in 1988 that Thomas [Tom] Girty was one of those Indians that came from the North East {Delaware Indians] which at the time I did not belive him, because these Oklahoma Indians was Cherokee, so I did not ask him any more Questions { To Bad} because I do think he was right. But with Jim Sellers help and my look up , I'm sure there is connection to The Girty in Pa. [one thing the given names,John,Simon,George,Thomas, James & what Ike said???] It there, but where.
I think now maybe John/Jack b-1792 came by Ky to Arkansas, before moving on the Canadian River abt 6 miles from the Arkansas River [near Snake Girty Cemetery]
