I have a little information on George Girty and his Indian wife. They had five or six children according to land records and one of them was named George. A story mentioning George says he was half Indian.

About 1799 or 1800 George Girty and his family lived about a mile west of St. Charles (Ohio I assume). He later removed to Dardenne where he died.

This information came from the American State Papers Vol. VIII p. 26-27. The "legal represenatives" of George Girty on Dec 13, 1813 applied for 640 acres of land near the town of St. Charles. The family appeared to have been granted the land in 1835.
