Thank you Lillie for your information, I was hopeing someting about George was about to show up. What year was Thomas Jr. born.
I just found in the Cherokee 1867 census in Okla My wife Jack Girty was 75 in 1867, so he was born abt 1792 and He and a Simon Girty was in Okla in 1832 at a trading Post. Simon was in Vian, Okla [Indian Terr.] in 1832/33 at the age 64. Jack came in from up NE ,but a book think Simon came from the East,Such as Ga. Tenn, or Al., but aft I found Jack age , could Simon be Jack father and came in from the NE????? Also there was an Isaac Girty here at the same time but I do not know his age.
I will watch for Thomas Jr. The name Thomas,James, Simon, John was carried on down. What year did Thomas go to Ohio? My wife grandfather was Thomas grandson of Jack
