Hi Jim,
Thanks for your help and information.
I've been told the Mother Girty mentioned in Connoquenessing Twp. Butler County, was actually Annie Girty, wife of Thomas Girty who was the brother of Simon Girty, and just recently, a ceremony was held where they placed a Grave marker on the site of Annie Girty's grave. Do you know if John Turner Jr., ever lived with Thomas and Annie Girty in Connoquenessing Township? I was also informed, in the will of John Turner, JR., he bequeathed a small amount of money to one CATHERINE BEALES (another spelling for BALES/BAYLES), but they didn't know what the relationship was. Would you have any ideas on this? It seems there is a definite tie here. Thanks again. Paula
