Richard,
FYI, Louis Preston was my Grandfather and my information matches yours. Only two of his children remain living they are my Aunts Octa Mae Kerns and Evelyn Pedranti. My Father, Louis Leland was killed in a car wreck in 1996, he was the last of Louis Prestons children to die. If you would like anymore info on J.D. Gitthens offspring let me know.
