Hi Alison

There was a Rowland Gladwin in Edmonton, Middx. who was born c 1750 and died 14 Feb 1827 in Edmonton. He married Sophia Taylor and had 3 kids that I know about: William b c1770, Sophia c1773 and Caroline. The family were dissenters, and probably belonged to one of the lesser known sects because there are virtually no available records from that time. Edmonton and Walthamstow are not far apart so you may find a connection there. If you have any luck please let me know, I would be interested to find out more.

Regards

John
