Charles Gladwin and Mary Elizabeth (?Wallace)

Charles Gladwin married Mary Elizabeth (surname possibly Wallace?) and they had a daughter, Frances (Amelia Edith) Gladwin who we believe to have been born on 10 Oct 1864 in India.

I am looking for details of Charles Gladwin including where and when he was born, and what he was doing in India (he was said to have been a 'commaning Officer, but of what and where?)

Charles and his wife's daughter, Frances, married John Morgan (or Morgans) in India (year and place not known) and they had a lot of children including Laura Morgan, Gwladys Morgan, John Morgan, Hugh Morgan, Henry (also known as Harry, who was shell-shocked in WW1) Charlie Morgan, and Clarence Morgan (who graduated at Edinburgh University as a Dentist, and whose practice for about 40 years was in Suffolk). Gwladys was born in 1889, and was very close to her father and fatherís family back home in Wales (?Neath/Swansea).

I am descended from the sister (Mary Jane Raymond, formerly Jo(h)nson, nee Morgan(s) ) of the above John Morgan(s), and I would love to hear from anyone who has a connection with either Charles Gladwin's forbears and descendants (or from anyone who knows anything about John Morgan(s) ).
