I have just started researching the Gladwin ancestry on behalf of my son-in-law Neil Griffiths, whose mother is a descendant of John Gladwin. I am starting at Hassop, Nr Youlgreave, Derbyshire with Dolly Gladwin who I am presuming was the sister of John. We are going out to the archive centre in two weeks time to look up the correct linkage and if it is the same family I will contact you again. Good Hunting: Mary McCambridge.
