we have a document that is titled GLADWIN OF STUBBINGS IN WINGERWORTH and Thomas Gladwin of Tupton Esq Sheriff in 1668 had two sons marked on his family tree. The younger son is Joseph and the other son is just marked as
'old son probably ancestor of Gladwin of Tupton whose heirs married Lord'. Is this of any value to you.
The children of Joseph are included in the tree but not those of the 'old' son
Joseph had a son Henry who had a son Henry who had a son, Charles Dakeyne Gladwin Esq of Stubbings Lieut Col of Derby Militia
I am just new to genealogy as well and starting to get hooked. Happy hunting. Jan
