Dear Carol,
i have just become interested in the gladwins on line and have been reading the postings. I have a family tree of the Gladwin of Stubbings in Wingerworth
Thomas Gladwin had a son, Joseph, who had a son, Henry Gladwin of Stubbings Hall Esq who married Mary, dau of Digby Dakeyne of ....hard to decipher but it looks like.... Dalbury Vsis, Heiress(?) of Ins(?) Dakeyne of Mansfield gent buried at Mansfield 16 Oct 1756.
They had four children Henry, John, Thomas and Dorothy.
Henry was Major General who fought in Detroit.

Is this of any interest to you?
Regards, Jan
