Would you happen to have a William Gladwyn, of Essex, England, on that chart. According to family notes he was married to a Miss Mapps (?) and they had a son, William A. Gladwyn, b. 6 August 1800, who later moved to US - probably living in New Hampshire or Vt. before settling in Lewis County, N. Y.

I do not intend to do in-depth research on this family, but would like to fill in what my adoptive great-grandfather wrote about Miss Mapps (or Mapes); i.e. her full name and where she was from and if these Gladwyns had other children.

Thank you.

Shirley (twigs@bright.net)
