Children of Owen and his wife, Martha Warton ot Barton, presumably born in Chester Co.,,Pa.,and probabl;y brought up as protestants, were:
1.James Glancy, born 9 Sep 1765
ii.William Glancy, born about 1767; he settled in Butler, Co., Pa., appearing their in the 1800 census; the William of Butler Co., could also have been William , son of Terrance Glancy, who had died by 1805, when two of his children accompanied his brother Jesse to Clermont Co., Ohio
iii.Jesse Glancy, born about 1769, he settled in Crawford, Co., Pa. being so listed in 1800, 1810, 1820, and 1830.
iv. Owen Glancy Jr., born about 1771; on duty at Shippenburg, Pa.. in Oct 1794 with the Chester Co., Calvary in the Pa. whiskey rebellion, at which time he was a resident of Charleston Township, Chester, Co.
v. John Glancy, born about 1773; serving 1794 with his brother Owen; had a household in Honey Brook, Chester Co., in 1800 census.
The children of Owen and his wife, Elizabeth Pawling, born in Chester Co., Pa., and baptised there at Warwick Furnace on 26 Mar 1786, along with Owen's wife, by a circuit priest from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church of Willing's Lane, Philadelphia.
vi. Elizabeth Glancy, born 27 Mar 1778, married Aug 1797 at Caernarvon, Berks Co., Pa., to Peter Miller.
vii. Sarah Glancy, born 30 Oct 1781, married 13 Apr 1800 at Caernarvon, Berks Co., Pa., to Jehu Jones (1778-1863), son of Jonathan Jones of Caernarvon; Sarah's son, Jehu Glancy Jones, was a member of Congress and was the U.S. Minister to Austria1858-1862.
viii. Ann Glancy, born 30 Sep 1784.
