Michele,
This info from "James Glancy Genealogy 1765-1986", book is probably available for purchase, I can give you info if you need it. "Terrance Glancy was born about 1735 perhaps in Chester County, Pa. He died about 1784 in Newberry Township, York County, Pa. His children born in Newberry Township, were: Jesse Glancy, born 1756, married Rachel Copeland, a Quaker, and had 5 children. He saw action at the Battles of Brandywine, Pa, and Monmouth, N.J. and no doubt spent the winter of 1777-1778 at Valley Forge under General Washington. He settled in Stonelick Township, Clermont County, Ohio in 1804. Joseph Glancy was the second child, of York County, Pa.; third child was William Glancy, York County, Pa., two of his children James and Elizabeth accompanied their uncle Jesse to Ohio; and lastly Jacob Glancy of York County, Pa. Does this help you?
