Scott Thankyou for responding to the Glander posting I had up on the genforum. To answer your question, Pom. is an abreviation I have seen used for the (County) Kreis of Pommerainia, Prussia. and the town Amalienhof, is now in side the Polish border and is known as Wierzchoslaw. It is a small ( less than 200) town just north of Goleniow, Poland. In the northwest corner of Poland. This is were I have found all of the Glanders that I'am related to. I am presently working on a Microfilm from a LDS family history center. that is a record of the church in Amalienhof from 1848 to 1874. The film has proved to be very rich in information, but I regret to say that I have not found a W.M. Glander as of yet. I still have a way to go on the film and I will keep W.M. in mind, and will let you know if I find him. Patrick Dotson Altoona WI
