Albert most likely had more than one wife. The first wife was named Elizabeth and had a daughter named Ethel. Ethel married Edward Fyton. Ethel and Edward had no children, so the line stopped there.
I would assume that since Albert lived a very long life, that he may have remarried and had more children by a second spouse, at the very least.
Some of the descendents of David Glander and Caroline Bigalke died of cystic fibrosis. That might explain why there were few or no children in some of the families. It is a hereditary condition. If both people have the gene, the child becomes sick and dies.
