Hi Tom, According to the 1860 and 1870 Preble County census records, Rebecca was born in 1848 to John Detrick and Sena Hager Glander. She was one of their ten children. After her mother died in August, 1875, her father moved to Darke County and settled in Greenville. He lived there until his death in 1902. John Detrick was one of the seven sons of John and Rebecca Kehlenbeck Glander - six came to the United States in the 1830's/1840's and settled primarily in Preble County, Ohio.
