Hi Carol,

I have checked my records and can't find any connection between your Harris line and the two Gleaves men you have identified. Matthew and Thomas Gleaves Jr. were sons of Michael Gleaves (he is recorded mostly as Michael Glaves) who died in Davidson County about 1811. Thomas used the "Jr." identification as he had an older cousin by the same name that lived in the area. The second Thomas, son of William Gleaves was known as Thomas Sr.

If you run across any connection between the families, I would love to hear about it.

Dennis
