Yes, dear Aunt Helen has, indeed, passed away. She died in May of 1998 and my grandmother died less than a month later on June 7th. My grandmother, Elsie B.(JAQUES) STIVERS was Helen's lifelong friend and heartsister (although she would never have used that term) and Helen's death just made her own passing easier, as she had someone waiting for her on the Other Side.

If you are connected with Helen in any way, let me know. I have pictures, letters and mementos of her. I loved her dearly and losing my beloved "aunt" (courtesy aunt, really) and my grandmother within a few weeks of each other was quite a blow. My comfort is knowing that they both went easily and safely. My grandmother died in our home and we found her propped up in bed, looking out the window, eyes half open, with a peaceful smile on her darling face! I can not but believe that her last thought on Earth was "Helen, dear, I'm coming!"

Sylvia
