About 1855, Richard Alfred GLENDON left Ireland and moved to St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. It is believed that Richard was from the Co. Wexford, or Co. Kilkenny area of Ireland. He married Alice Cashe McNulty of St. John, and they had two children in St. John, Thomas, b. 1862, and Mary, b. 1868. About 1869 the family moved to Harwich (on Cape Cod), MA, and three children were born there. Richard, b. 1870, Alice b. 1872, and John b. 1875. Richard was a sailor. Any information on any GLENDON families would be helpful.
