Your friend and I are both descendants of
WILLIAM GLENNIE, LLD. b. 1761, d.1828
One of his 12 children was:
Gavin Robert Glennie, b.1805, d.1872 in Mexico
Gavin Glennie married:
Fernanda del Va, l August 7, 1872; Guanajuato, Mexico
Their issue: Mariano & Francisco.
Francisco, who was a mining engineer in Guanajuato married a Mexican Indian called Espiridiona Castro and had 5 children, only two of them got married; Enrique and Josefina. Josefina married Juan Castelazo.

Please email me direct. I have researched the family line back to ALEXANDER GLENNIE,-1650 settled at Whiteshaw, Marycoulter, Kincardineshire, Scotland. And will be pleased to share the information I have.
