Dear Norm, Christabel & Alex

I am descended from Janet Glennie & John Riach. Looking on the IGI, the most likely parents of Janet Glennie are William Glennie and Barbara Reid, because Janet named two of her children William and Barbara.

I am descended as follows: Barbara Riach m. James Coutts, Jane Coutts m. Harry Kellas, James Kellas m. Mary Brown Wood who migrated to Australia (my grandparents), Beatrice Kellas m. Roy McDonald.

James and Barbara Coutts farmed at Tinnaboth, Towie. Jane was resident at the Strathdon schoolhouse when she married Harry Kellas (perhaps the teacher there?) They moved to Woodside outside Aberdeen, their son James moved to the Lothians before marrying Lothian girl Mary Wood.

Looks like there is lots of Glennie info out there, any of you have any clues on my Janet?

Cheers
Jeanette
