My Glennies came from Scotland to Nova Scotia in the late 1780s. Our Scottish links are found mostly in Fife but one at least in Rayne,Aberdeenshire. While using scotlandspeople government site, I have made notes of various Glennie bmd statistics. While the dates I am working on are further back, I do have one Glennie notation from Pitsligo, Aberdeen and send it along in case it connects for you later down the road.

Birth record, Jean Glenny, 29 August 1723, Pitsligo, Aberdeen, father George Glenny, mother Margaret Nicol.

Don't be put off by the surname spelling, I have found my ancestor linked to Glennie, Glenny, Glenie, Gleney.

If you get back to the mid to early 1700s, contact me and I will go through any Aberdeenshire notations I have collected by then.
