Hello Donald:
Just noticed your reply and looked up your connection with data I have. It appears our clans are related through John Glenie (1715-1800) and his son John Glennie (1755-1839). While your line appears to run through Donald Glennie(1816-1882), mine goes through his his older brother Alexander Blair Glennie (1811-1853). From Alexander comes my great-grandfather, James B. Glennie (1846-1924), who moved from Ontario to Michigan. His oldest son is George Dixon Glennie (1878-1968), my grandfather. My father is Peter Maule Glennie (1917-1976). If interested in exchanging information, let me know. My e-mail is ankari@hutchtel.net. I happen to reside in Glencoe, Minn. It's always nice to find new relatives. Regards.
Rich Glennie
