GLENNIE of Insch, Aberdeen, Scotland

Hi,

I'm looking into my gggfathers family. He lived at Little Mains of Ward House, which was a place of 64 acres near Aulton, in Insch parish. Insch parish is in Aberdeenshire,
WNW of Aberdeen City.

My ggmother Jessie was born in 1866, and James Glennie listed as the father, living at that place.

Doing the 1881 census, there are indeed Glennies living there: James 38, Mary 38, George 11, and Jane 6. There are a couple of other households of Glennies: Alexander Glennie 62 and Jane 52 living in Largie, Insch, and William and Hannah Glennie, of the Faquaars Property Bellevue cottage, Insch.

Anyone have any connection to James and his family, or any further information on them?

Ta,
Dede River,
QLD, Australia
