John Walker GLENNIE was my great uncle. He travelled to Canada from New Zealand to seek his fortune and find land. While waiting for a ship to return to New Zealand contacted a virus and died.

Born Queenstown, New Zealand 05/02/1879 and reputed to have died in Quebec, Canada 1905. Location of burial or precise date of death unknown

Parents were James(born 1840)and Harriet Glennie(nee Green .. born 1855)who emigrated from Strathdon / Aberdeen.

Desperate to find any information.
