Hello.

I am also looking for any Glew's who were in Manchester around the late 19th century.

Your best bet for getting the father of William Henry Sykes GLEW is to find him in the 1891 census (and therefore the rest of the family) and also find his birth registration and order the civil certificate from the GRO for 7 pounds.

Would love to hear from you when you find out who his parents were.
