Dear jane,

I am not sure about WEsleyan parish registers, however I did have a quick look at the IGI and found the following:

John Glew bapt.6 May 1804 Snaith, Yorkshire
married Mary Brown 29 Nov 1824 Snaith
William bapt.21 May 1826 Snaith
Ann bapt.5 Oct 1828 Snaith
Mary bapt. 5 Dec 1830 Snaith
Jane bapt. 8 Sept 1833 Snaith

These tie in with your census information. As for the other three children I couldn't see anything that matched them.

My suggestion is to confirm the name of the wife in Canada by getting her death certificate, or one of her children's death/marriage certificate's (providing it gives the mother's maiden name). Hopefully this will be Mary Brown, and then you can chase the above family.

Good Luck, Katharine.
